Chronic Advanced Lung Disease Clinic
Hours: Tuesday 8.30 am - 12.30 pm

This clinic treats asthma, COPD, lymphangioleiomyomatosis, cystic lung disease and occupation lung diseases such as silicosis, asbestosis and mesothelioma.

Thoracic Surgery Referrals
All new patient referrals need to complete Work-Up preparation before attending the Pre-Admission Clinic. Specific investigations are required according to the type of operation.

Lung Transplant Assessment Referrals
All new patients to the St Vincent's Hospital transplant services now require completion of the Lung Transplant Assessment Referral Form.
This form outlines all of the investigations required prior to an initial outpatient consultation and aim to optimise appointment waiting times for patients.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation Referrals
St Vincent's Hospital provides a comprehensive pulmonary rehabilitation program to support patients with chronic lung disease.
Referrals can be made by a:
- GP
- Respiratory Physician
- Thoracic Surgeon
- Another pulmonary rehabilitation service
To refer a patient, please complete the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Breathe Easy Referral Form and email to SVHS.PulmRehab@svha.org.au
Following the receipt of the completed form, a pulmonary rehabilitation coordinator will contact the patient to arrange and confirm an appointment.
