Discharge from Hospital

Transport home is the responsibility of the patient and their family. Any foreseeable difficulties with transport home need to be discussed early with the staff on your ward.

Before booking your return transport home, please check with your doctor or nurse about your planned date of discharge.

St Vincent's Hospital does not provide taxi vouchers and is unable to transport patients in private cars.
